Strategic Roadmap

From School Gardens to Community Resilience

LIFEWS scales practical climate solutions in clear phases — beginning with climate-smart school gardens and expanding into training, food systems, energy-water resilience, livelihoods, and durable community systems.

Phase 1

Launch School Gardens

Establish climate-smart school gardens, learning kits, student activities, and baseline monitoring systems.

Phase 2

Build Local Capacity

Train teachers, facilitators, school coordinators, and community champions to sustain implementation.

Phase 3

Improve Food & Nutrition

Connect gardens to nutrition education, school learning, food awareness, and household replication.

Scale

Energy & Water Resilience

Integrate solar learning, irrigation efficiency, water stewardship, reuse systems, and climate literacy.

Pathways

Skills to Livelihoods

Create youth roles, internships, field training, micro-enterprise pathways, and deployment opportunities.

Durability

Community Systems

Strengthen partnerships, accountability, inclusion, shared assets, and long-term local ownership.

Each phase is designed to be measurable, repeatable, and scalable — turning early wins into systems that last.

Updates & Highlights

From convening national stakeholders to building scalable school and community models, LIFEWS is advancing food–energy–water resilience through practical partnerships and measurable action.
