Leadership & Management
The Leadership & Management Team provides strategic vision, ethical direction, and institutional oversight for the LIFEWS Foundation. Guided by the Lichipu philosophy — “doing it together” — this team ensures integrity, inclusiveness, and accountability in all LIFEWS initiatives.
Gabriel is a Doctoral Researcher at Oregon State University and the founder of LIFEWS Foundation. Expert in agrivoltaics, environmental ethics, and the food–energy–water nexus. Author of Democratising the Sun and originator of the African philosophy Lichipu. He leads the organization’s vision of integrating agrivoltaics and climate-smart agriculture into schools and communities across Nigeria and Africa. His work blends research expertise with grassroots impact, ensuring that innovation meets real community needs.
Sr. Bola manages LIFEWS projects, from concept to execution. She provides oversight to ensure that programs stay aligned with LIFEWS’ mission and deliver tangible impact. With a strong background in project management and digital strategy, she brings structure and innovation to the team.
Kene leads the strategic growth of LIFEWS initiatives, focusing on expanding impact across schools and communities. He bridges the gap between grassroots realities and national policy frameworks. His role ensures that LIFEWS projects remain scalable and sustainable.
Mutiu oversees legal and compliance matters for LIFEWS. He ensures that governance frameworks, contracts, and operations meet professional and ethical standards. His guidance helps maintain accountability and transparency across the foundation’s activities.
Mary oversees the day-to-day operations of LIFEWS. She coordinates teams, streamlines activities, and ensures that the foundation’s programs run efficiently. Her leadership ensures smooth delivery of LIFEWS’ mission across multiple regions.
Emmanuel supports LIFEWS projects by handling logistics, procurement, and operations. He ensures schools and communities receive resources and materials on time. His role is central to the smooth functioning of demonstration hubs and field activities.
Dibia manages LIFEWS’ HR functions, including recruitment, staff welfare, and organizational culture. He ensures that LIFEWS attracts and retains motivated professionals. His administrative support strengthens the foundation’s internal systems.
Gbenga provides executive support to the leadership team, managing communications, documentation, and scheduling. He plays a key role in ensuring organizational efficiency. His work helps keep LIFEWS’ operations organized and responsive.
Advisory Team
Dr. Edema provides governance and ethical oversight for LIFEWS programs. He ensures that initiatives are guided by fairness, equity, and transparency. His input strengthens LIFEWS’ trust with stakeholders.
Dr. Emerole leads stakeholder and public engagement for LIFEWS. He builds strategic relationships with government, civil society, and development partners. His work helps align agrivoltaics with Nigeria’s national development goals.
Juliet oversees LIFEWS’ communications and public relations. She ensures that LIFEWS maintains strong connections with media, schools, and partners. Her role amplifies the foundation’s voice.
Raymond develops LIFEWS’ brand presence and sponsorship strategies. He works to build donor confidence and expand fundraising opportunities. His leadership sustains the foundation’s growth.
Juliana leads LIFEWS’ inclusion programs. She ensures that women, especially those with disabilities, are integrated into LIFEWS initiatives. Her role champions diversity and empowerment.
Jessy leads institutional collaborations, aligning corporate partnerships with LIFEWS’s mission of sustainable development and climate resilience across schools and communities.
